The short version

This site asks what you would want in a Bible app. You can answer cards, leave a comment, suggest your own idea, and join the waitlist.

Your card answers, comments and ideas are saved without any name, email or account attached to them. The only personal detail we ever store is your email address, and only if you type it into the waitlist form yourself.

There is no analytics on this site. No advertising trackers. No cookies for visitors. Nothing follows you to other websites.

Who runs this site

This website is operated by Save One More Person. It was built and is maintained by Landslide Studios on the site owner's behalf, which means Landslide Studios can access the site and the research database in order to keep it running. There is no analytics tool on this site for Landslide Studios or anyone else to run.

What you choose to give us

Your answer to a feature card

When you swipe or tap yes, maybe or no, we save which feature you answered, which of the three answers you picked, and the time you picked it. That is the whole point of the site: to count which ideas people actually want. Nothing is saved that identifies you, so these answers cannot be traced back to you.

A comment, if you write one

Flipping a card over lets you write what you would change about a feature. If you write something, it is saved alongside your yes, maybe or no answer, and the site owner reads it. It is not linked to you either. Please do not type your name, email, phone number or anything else private into that box, because we have no way of knowing it is in there.

A feature idea, if you submit one

The "Have a Better Idea?" card takes three things: a feature name, a description, and a category. Those three things are saved and nothing else. Your idea can then be shown to other visitors as a community card, so treat it as public.

Your email address, if you join the waitlist

The waitlist form takes one field: your email address. It is stored on its own, with no name and no other detail attached, and it is used for one thing, which is to tell you when the app launches. It is not sold, rented or shared. When you submit the form we also check that the domain part of your address, the bit after the @, is set up to receive mail at all, so that typos do not sit on the list forever.

What happens automatically, to stop spam

When you submit an idea, report an idea, or join the waitlist, the site needs some way to stop one person flooding it. So at that moment it takes your IP address, your browser's user-agent string and your time zone, and scrambles them into a fixed-length code using a one-way hash. The code is what gets stored, along with a counter and a timestamp. Your actual IP address is not written down.

These anti-spam records are deleted automatically after 24 hours. They are never used to work out who you are or to build a profile of you, and they are not attached to your answers, your comments, your ideas or your email address.

Simply reading the site and swiping through cards does not create any of these records.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies on your browser. Not for advertising, not for measurement, not for anything. That is also why you are not being asked to accept a cookie banner. The one cookie this site is capable of setting is a login cookie for the owner's own private admin dashboard, which is behind a password and which ordinary visitors never touch.

There is no analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmaps, no session recording, no third-party advertising tags of any kind. The "Total responses" counter on the front page is just a count of answers in our own database, not a count of people.

There are no third-party embeds either. The link to the YouTube channel is an ordinary link, so YouTube only hears about you if you actually click it and go there.

What is kept in your own browser

Two small items are stored in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device. They are not cookies, they are not sent to us, and they are not sent to anyone else.

A running list of the cards you have answered, so the "View selections" page can show you your own picks and so the deck does not hand you a card twice. Each entry holds the feature's ID, its name, its category, whether you said yes, maybe or no, and the time you answered. It is a copy kept for your convenience: it lives in your browser and is never uploaded. Your yes, maybe or no answer does still reach our database, but it gets there separately, at the moment you swipe, and with nothing identifying attached.

A single number, 0, 1 or 2. It remembers where you were in the rotation so that official cards and community-submitted cards stay mixed up between visits. That is all it does.

You can wipe both of these yourself at any time, and you do not need to ask us. See below.

The companies involved

Running a website means other companies handle some of it. These are all of them:

Supabase

Hosts the database where the card answers, comments, community ideas, waitlist emails and anti-spam records are stored.

Vercel

Hosts the website itself and serves the pages to you. Like any web host, it processes the ordinary connection information needed to deliver a page to your browser.

Cloudflare

Provides the "are you a human" check on the waitlist page, using a product called Turnstile. It is the only third-party code loaded anywhere on this site, and it is only on that one page. When you submit the waitlist form, your IP address is sent to Cloudflare along with the check's result so it can confirm the check was genuine. Cloudflare's check may store data in your browser on that page in order to work. It is there to tell people apart from bots, not to advertise to you or follow you around the web.

Landslide Studios

Built and maintains the site for the owner, and can access the site and its database to do that.

Nobody buys this data, and nobody is sent it for advertising.

How long we keep things

Anti-spam records: deleted automatically after 24 hours.

Card answers, comments and community ideas: kept while the research is being used, which is what the site exists for. There is no automatic deletion on these, and because they carry nothing identifying, they are effectively permanent research data rather than records about a person.

Waitlist email addresses: kept until the app has launched and you have been told about it, or until you ask us to remove yours, whichever comes first. There is no automatic deletion on these either, so if you want yours gone, ask and we will remove it.

The items in your browser: they stay until you clear them. We cannot see them and we cannot clear them for you.

Getting your data removed

To clear what is in your browser

Open the selections page and press "Clear selections". To remove every trace, including the rotation number, clear this site's storage in your browser settings, usually found under something like "Cookies and site data". You do not need our permission and you do not need to tell us.

To come off the waitlist

Email support@saveonemoreperson.com from the address you signed up with, or tell us which address to remove. We will delete it and confirm, within 30 days at the outside.

To remove a comment or an idea you submitted

Because these are stored with nothing identifying attached, we genuinely cannot look up "everything from you". If you want something you wrote taken down, email us and quote enough of it that we can find it, and we will remove it.

To ask what we hold about you

Email us. For almost everyone the honest answer will be "nothing, unless you joined the waitlist", and if you did, it is your email address and nothing more.

Reporting something abusive

Community ideas are written by other visitors. The site filters obvious profanity and blocks links, but it cannot catch everything. If a community card is abusive or unsafe, use the report button on the card. Reporting sends only the ID of that card and your time zone, which is used for the anti-spam check described above and nothing else.

Changes to this policy

If the site starts collecting something new, this page gets updated before that happens, and the date at the top changes. If analytics or any other tracking is ever added, it will be named here.
